January 24

What happened on January 24?

Almost 1900 years separate the youngest and oldest party boys today, incredible!
Good old Roman Emperor Hadrian (*76) is best known for his gigantic wall in Brittania.
Built to keep barbarians out. Well, we all know how that worked out, don’t we?

If you want a wall built properly, just call some boy scouts! They know how to handle stuff.
The first boy scout troop was organized in England in 1908 (a little later than Hadrian needed them) by Robert Baden-Powell.

Not sure whether they scouted together, but singer Neil Diamond (*1941) and actor
James Belushi (*1949) must have made a fun troop!
Add Ed Helms (*1974) to the crew and you won’t need any further education for the day – you’ll get to know all the fun things you need for a happy day.

And in case you want to learn something extra, we have great news for you; it is International day of education today. Warm applause and kudos to all the teachers out there, working hard to teach us all kinds of smartness!
