What happened on January 5?

Whilst DJ and producer Deadmau5 (*1981) drops his minimal beats behind the decks, we start the celebration of 4 big names in the acting business today!

Vinny Jones (*1965) simply had to come first on the list. If not, he would have tackled us. Though he is famous for his aggressive play on the pitch as well as the silver screen – deep down he surely is a sweetheart.

Two true sweethearts of any cinema’s audience are next: Bradley Cooper (*1975) and
Diane Keaton (*1946).

Robert Duvall (*1931) received an Oscar and many other awards in his long acting career. And we are very happy that he didn’t have to wait long to receive them.
Because waiting for something or someone is a terrible waste of time. And the worst thing is when you’re waiting for something that will most likely never happen. Like Waiting for Godot. Samuel Beckett’s play with this title premiered in Paris on this day in 1953.

We love a good play, as well as a great book. And who better to serve us his books on his birthday than Italian author Umberto Eco (*1932).

And now, we’ll let Marilyn Manson (*1969) take over the playlist and let his world-famous voice and authentic style echo through the speakers all day until tomorrow…
