What happened on March 12?
We remember some hectic events today, brace yourselves.
Yesterday we had the ‘anniversary’ of the COVID outbreak from 2020. And on this day in 2003, the World Health Organization officially released a global warning of outbreaks of Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).
And six years later, in 2009, Wall Street experiences an outbreak too. Financier Bernard Madoff pleads guilty to one of the largest frauds in Wall Street’s history.
We are fortunate to enjoy two wonderful events on this day as well, and get our smiles out!
American novelist Jack Kerouac (*1922) and actress Liza Minnelli (*1946) celebrate B-days.
