What happened on November 1?
Whilst we wish all cooks a fantastic Cook For Your Pet Day, we celebrate the premiere of William Shakespeare’s tragic tragedy Othello.
Much less tragic are the works of Uruguayan artist Carlos Paez Vilaro (*1923). In case you don’t know his colorful paintings and murals yet, go check them out.
Speaking of artistic colors, here is a “Happy Birthday” to American singer Anthony Kiedis (*1962), lead singer and founding member of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. What a colorful voice this man has.
We’re not sure whether American publisher Larry Flint (*1942) ever published a story about Anthony and his peppers. And if so, would the article be written on a Lenovo laptop? This Chinese brand celebrates its founding date today, from 1984.
Also celebrating its inception day is Finnish airline Finnair, flying people all over the world since 1923. Just as old as good old Mr. Vilaro.
Canadian musician David Foster (*1949) sings us a frosty song to celebrate both legends from ’23. And Dutch ice skater Erben Wennemars (*1975) & South African golfer Gary Player (*1935) push their crowds to cheer on today’s cooks and their pets!
Celebrating good times feels nice, right?
