Whooo, it is Nachos Day today!
Have a look below at our favorite Nachos recipe.
Put some sound to your festive food by spinning a nice tune to celebrate the birthday of the inventor of the saxophone, Belgian musician Adolphe Sax (1814).
Isn’t it fantastic how you can produce soothing sounds by blowing air into a piece of highly-sophisticated metal? What was Adolphe thinking, crafting his earliest masterpieces? Thankfully he did, and we get to enjoy his gift to mankind.
Abraham Lincoln might have played a little victory tune to celebrate his election as the 16th President of the US on this day in 1860. His successor Bill Clinton is most famous for blowing his sax; we’re not 100% sure about Good Old Abe’s favorite instrument.
⠀
And on this beautiful day, we celebrate the Happy birthdays of film producer Susan Downey (*1973) and her 3 acting amigos: Emma Stone (*1988), Sally Field (*1946), and Ethan Hawke (*1970).
Go spin a nice Charlie Parker record, put your nachos in the oven, and invite your friends for a movie starring one of today’s celebrating legends!
